Eater Lands Six 2023 James Beard Media Award Nominations


The James Beard Basis introduced the nominees for the 2023 Media Awards, and Eater is nominated in six classes.

Eater’s video group is a finalist within the class of Visible Media — Quick Kind for an episode of The Specialists (previously referred to as First Individual). Within the nominated video, Eater visits Down North Pizza, a preferred Philadelphia pizza spot that gives jobs, housing, and authorized illustration to previously incarcerated people. Eater’s video group beforehand gained a James Beard Award in 2020 for episodes of Handmade, spotlighting the handcrafted merchandise (and their makers) that offer prime eating places.
